Lucasfilm has released a couple of new featurettes for you to watch today for Star Wars: The Acolyte. The first focuses on crafting the combat scenes in the series, and the second is a full on behind-the-scenes making-of video.

There have been a good amount of these featurettes being released for the series and Lucasfilm is hoping that they will get fans hyped for what this series is going to deliver.

The feature interviews with the cast and crew talk about what it’s like for them to make these movies and offer new details on their characters and the story. They also offer up some fun new footage!

The movie stars Amandla Steinberg as Mae, Lee Jung-jae as Jedi Master Sol, Manny Jacinto as Qimir, Dafne Keen as Jecki Lon, Charlie Barnett as Jedi Knight Yord Fandar, and Carrie Anne-Moss as Jedi Master Indara.

The Acolyte is described as “a mystery-thriller that will take viewers into a galaxy of shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers in the final days of the High Republic era.” The High Republic is set 100 years before the Skywalker Saga begins.

Steinberg plays a former Padawan and dangerous warrior who is hunting down and killing Jedi. In the story, “An investigation into a shocking crime spree pits a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Stenberg).

“As more clues emerge, they travel down a dark path where sinister forces reveal all is not what it seems….”

The Acolyte will consist of eight episodes and it recently premiered on Disney+.
