WWE recently once again mentioned former WWE Champion Brock Lesnar’s name on TV, sparking speculation that the former champion might be on the verge of making a return. Lesnar has been absent from the promotion for over ten months. His name was allegedly referenced in the Vince McMahon lawsuit, which led to his absences.

Following the lawsuit against Vince McMahon in January, Brock Lesnar planned to return to WWE TV. Despite not mentioning his name in the lawsuit, WWE scrapped his return plans and halted his future appearances. Subsequently, fans noticed that WWE avoided mentioning Brock Lesnar’s name on TV.

However, his former advocate, Paul Heyman, gave him a shoutout at this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony. Additionally, Michael Cole surprised fans by bringing up Lesnar’s name during the King and Queen of The Ring premium live event to intrigue the subject.

In the recent edition of SmackDown, during a segment between Kevin Owens and Paul Heyman, former Universal Champion Kevin Owens mentioned Brock Lesnar’s name while discussing all the stars under Heyman’s management. While Brock Lesnar’s name is now being mentioned, there has been no indication whether the former world champion is set to return on TV.

With Brock Lesnar’s name being mentioned again, fans believe the former WWE Champion will return soon on TV. However, wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer recently shed light on the topic. On the Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer mentioned that the promotion won’t bring Brock Lesnar back until WWE’s legal team clears his name.

While the promotion once again mentions Lesnar’s name, the promotion currently has no plans to bring the former WWE Champion back. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for Lesnar to get clearance from the legal team.

Lesnar’s last match was against Cody Rhodes at WWE SummerSlam, so it will be intriguing to see who he targets when he returns.
