Last week LEGO revealed its new Jaws-themed LEGO kit. It is based on the scene where the killer Great White shark is attacking The Orca on the open sea while it’s being hunted by Brody, Hooper, and Quint.

They have since released a 90-second LEGO remake of Jaws that is a really fun watch!

This set is based on a fan submission to LEGO Ideas, and the 1,497-piece kit includes a detailed model of The Orca, minifigs of Brody, Hooper, and Quint, and a brick-built shark named Bruce in attack mode.

The LEGO Jaws set was designed by LEGO fan Johnny Campbell, who talked about the project, saying: “JAWS is my favourite movie of all time, so I really wanted to recreate it in LEGO bricks.

“LEGO building has always been a part of my life in some shape or form but in order to get all of the finer details, I actually freeze-framed JAWS as I watched it so that I could catch a glimpse of the finer details taking notes as I went along.

“It is just mind-blowing that my design isnow an official LEGO set. I can't wait to stand in a LEGO shop looking at the shelves and seeing a set that I have been involved with and watching someone buying it. It’s every LEGO fan’s dream!”

The LEGO set drops on August 6th, 2024. If you want one, It’ll cost you $149.99.
