On June 9, the gothic cyber metal band LYNCS halted activities and dismissed vocalist NOCTIS ZANG in response to allegations in an article published by the BBC. The announcement of NOCTIS’ dismissal, provided in English below, came within hours of the article’s publication.

The article revealed the findings of a year-long undercover investigation conducted by BBC Eye, which exposed individuals selling videos depicting sexual assault online.

Allegedly, NOCTIS ZANG, then vocalist of the band The Versus and more recently vocalist of LYNCS, was implicated in this illegal porn trafficking operation. His former bandmate from The Versus, Lupus has also been implicated.

LYNCS guitarist LIN (凛-Lin-) released a statement announcing NOCTIS’ removal from the group and the suspension of LYNCS’ activities.
