Versailles’ single “VOGUE” marks first release in over a decade

Amidst the start of Versailles’ summer tour Varoque, the band will release the single VOGUE on June 21.

The single contains VOGUE and Wrath of Thunder, along with instrumental versions. Vocalist KAMIJO worked on the title track VOGUE to integrate a more modern sound into their stylistic melodies. 

The new CD is available in two limited editions, “A” and “B” respectively, and a regular edition. Limited edition A for the single contains a DVD showcasing the music video and a making-of video. Limited edition B contains 10 concert tracks from their Barcelona performance on their 2017 European tour.

To accompany the announcement, Versailles teased new looks.

Currently, Versailles is holding a Japan summer tour, Varoque, with stops at Fukuoka, Shibuya, Osaka, Sapporo, Shin Yokohama, and Nagoya.

They will also be on tour with Moi dix Mois, Matenrou Opera, and D later this fall as a collective on the Japanese Visual Metal Tour.

About Versailles

Versailles consists of vocalist KAMIJO, guitarist TERU, guitarist HIZAKI, bassist MASASHI, and drummer YUKI. The group is a symphonic rock visual kei band. They are most notably known for their theatrical concepts, and Rococo and Victorian-inspired attire. The band was initially active from 2007 to 2012, resulting in hiatus. They reunited in 2016 and since then held tours and live performances.
