In the previous chapter of The Tyrant Princess Wants to Get Married!, the Head Butler, Oscar, saves Dana using his ice magic, and he asks if Dana is alright. Oscar’s breathing continued to get heavier as if he was in pain, and he grabbed Dana’s hand, urging her to get out of there fast before he ended up collapsing.

Dana touches Oscar, and she is shocked to see that Oscar has gone cold as ice. Dana yells out for a doctor or someone who could help, but the crowd who had gathered around Dana and Oscar was just fixated on the fact that Oscar was a magician.

None of them were interested in helping Oscar, but luckily, the Coachman came running towards them in an attempt to take Oscar to a safe place. The people who could use magic were called Magicians, and there were two kinds of Magicians who existed in that world.

The good magicians used magic for the benefit of others, but the evil magicians solely used it for their own personal gain, harming others in the process. That was why people, in general, were wary of magicians, but Oscar did not hesitate to use his magic in public to save Dana, which touched her heart greatly.

Dana and the Coachman took Oscar to an inn, where they lay him down on the bed comfortably. Oscar had flashbacks about his childhood where the villagers threw stones at him and cursed him for being a magician and the son of the witch who had destroyed their village.
