Originally scheduled to begin filming in September, a brand new listing on Production Weekly has confirmed that production start on Lucasfilm’s upcoming The Mandalorian Season 4 has officially been delayed to November. Despite executive producer Jon Favreau previously confirming that all scripts for the next installment have already been written, The Mandalorian Season 4 has still been impacted by the ongoing writers’ strike.

Who’s the Cast of The Mandalorian?

The Star Wars series is created and executive produced by Favreau. Joining Pascal’s lone Mandalorian gunfighter Din Djarin in Season 3 are Katee Sackhoff as Bo-Katan, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Amy Sedaris as Peli Motto, Emily Swallow as The Armorer, Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, and more. The latest installment also featured appearances from Ahmed Best, Jack Black, Lizzo, and Christopher Lloyd.

“The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu,” says the synopsis for Season 3. “Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”

Season 3’s directorial lineup included returning filmmakers Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, and Bryce Dallas Howard, along with Star Wars newcomers Lee Isaac Chung (Minari), Peter Ramsey (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), and Black Panther cinematographer Rachel Morrison.

The Mandalorian hails from executive producers Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, Karen Gilchrist, and Carrie Beck. Favreau is also set as the showrunner and one of its directors. Seasons 1-3 are now available for streaming on Disney+.
