NBC has adjusted season episode counts for The Irrational and Lopez vs Lopez, per Deadline. The changes were made due to the delays caused by the recently ended WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Starring Jesse L. Martin, Maahra Hill, Arash DeMaxi, Molly Kunz, Travina Springer, and Brian King, The Irrational follows Professor Alec Mercer (Martin) as he helps solve cases using his unique insight into human nature. The Irrational will have one more episode than expected, for a total of 11 installments. Seven episodes of the new drama had been completed before the industry strikes began. Production is expected to resume this week, and the cast and crew will now film four more episodes instead of three.

Production on fellow freshman drama Found had already wrapped, so no additional episodes have been ordered. Both shows have performed well for NBC, and given their ratings, they appear to have a good shot of being renewed.

Meanwhile, season two of Lopez vs Lopez will have just ten episodes. The comedy, starring George Lopez, Mayan Lopez, Selenis Leyva, Brice Gonzalez, and Matt Shively, follows the relationship between an estranged father and daughter, played by Lopez and his daughter.

The show was not renewed before the WGA strike began, and filming for season two has yet to begin. The reduced order reflects the network’s scheduling needs for the remainder of the broadcast season.

Meanwhile, fellow sophomore comedy Night Court will have 13 episodes for the season. The cast and crew had already begun filming episodes before the strikes, and production resumed last week on the remaining installments.
