Prime Video has released the first clip from The Boys Season 4 and it sees Billy Butcher coming face-to-face with his arch nemesis, Homelander.

In the scene, Billy Butcher finds Ryan and makes an attempt to get him to leave Homelander and come with him. This is all takes place during Victoria Neuman’s campaign speech.

As Butcher is trying to convince Ryan to come with him, Homelander shows up and Butcher’s plan falls apart. Homelander manages to talk his son out of going with Butcher.

The last time we saw Butcher and Ryan together, he did what he felt was best for Ryan by telling him that he never wanted him. That decision definitely backfired on him as it just brought Ryan closer to his father.

I also included a poster featuring Sister Sage and Firecracker, who are set to be the two newest Supes to join The Seven, The Boys‘ main organization of morally-corrupt superheroes.

In season four, “The world is on the brink. Victoria Neuman is closer than ever to the Oval Office and under the muscly thumb of Homelander, who is consolidating his power.”

“Butcher, with only months to live, has lost Becca’s son as well as his job as The Boys’ leader. The rest of the team are fed up with his lies. With the stakes higher than ever, they have to find a way to work together and save the world before it’s too late.”

Eric Kripke previously teased that this season, “miiiiiiight be the batshit craziest thing we’ve ever done? Like I truly can’t believe we got away with it.”

The series stars Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, Cameron Crovetti, Susan Heyward, Valorie Curry, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

The eight-episode season will drop three episodes on June 13, followed by a new episode each week, ending with the epic season finale on Thursday, July 18th.
