Does Starlight die in The Boys Season 4?

Starlight is still alive as of Season 4 Episode 4, though she’s at high risk of death.

While Starlight is alive at the moment, she’s in direct competition with the Seven as her Starlighter faction faces off against the Hometeamers. After announcing that she is leaving the Seven at the end of season 3, it is very likely that she will end up having to fight the Seven or their allies directly at some point in season 4. Moreover, her decision to come out and lead the faction as Starlight will also have repercussions. However, nothing can be said with certainty as she also has the support of The Boys on her side.

Additionally, Starlight’s past with Firecracker comes to light in episode 3, which directly puts them against each other. Firecracker wants to get even with Starlight because they competed on the same pageant circuit as kids, and Starlight spread rumors about Firecracker sleeping with the judges in order to win. Now, Firecracker will do her best to let the world know that Starlight isn’t perfect. The upcoming episodes of season 4 will reveal how exactly Firecracker plans to get her revenge against Starlight.

While there are many possible roads that could lead to Starlight’s death, there are also strong reasons for her to stay alive. Especially with her enhanced strength and her newfound ability to also fly, she has the upper hand over most enemies. Even her portrayal as a symbol of resistance on the show could possibly be the reason why she stays alive.
