Sylvester Stallone is set to star in a new action comedy set up at Amazon Studios titled Never Too Old to Die. The studio picked up the script for the project, which was written by Brian Otting, and it will be the first project to be developed under Stallone’s new multi-year deal under his Balboa Productions.

The story centers on a “mysterious murder within a retirement home for spies” and it “sparks a Cold War hero’s personal mission to find the assassin living among them.”

As of right now, there’s no director attached to the film, but it sounds like this will be a fun film project for Stallone! The actor recently starred in the Paramount+ crime drama series Tulsa King from creator Taylor Sheridan, and he’s set to appear in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, where he reprises his role as Starhawk.

Stallone will also return for the next installment of the hit action franchise The Expendables, which is coming out in August.
