Sylvester Stallone stars in a new action thriller titled Alarum alongside Scott Eastwood.

Alarum follows retired assassin couple “Joe and Lara Travers, who are in hiding at a holiday resort in Belize when a plane crashes nearby.

“After retrieving a top-secret flash drive from the crash, the couple are pulled back into their shadowy past, fending off government operatives determined to retrieve the drive.”

The movie is directed by Michael Polish (Force of Nature) from a script written by Alexander Vesha (Deadly Impact).

The film was recently acquired by Signature Entertainment, and the deal was negotiated between Signature’s chief commercial officer Elizabeth Williams, who said::

“Everyone loves the legend that is Sly Stallone – we’re delighted to be working with our friends at Highland once again on such an appealing film and we couldn’t be more excited to bring this twisty espionage action thriller to U.K. and Irish audiences.

This seems like another fun action project for Stallone to be a part of. Hopefully the movie turns out to be a good one!
