sukekiyo’s “MOAN” music video premiered on YouTube on August 1, 2023. As always, the band’s unpredictable style takes us on a journey into a dark dream, leaving room for interpretation.

In MOAN, neon lights illuminate a dark cityscape while twinkling keys complement a New Wave beat. sukekiyo’s songs often deal with taboo romance in some capacity, and MOAN keeps that theme alive. Vocalist Kyo’s lyrics hint at the perspective of a lover, prostitute, or a gray area in between. The words remain vague and suggestive, inviting listeners to interpret them. Last but not least, the band embarks on tour “Dakara so no uchi” this month, before continuing on to Hong Kong for two nights only.
