This week’s retro trailer is for the 1982 martial arts action horror movie Raw Force. The cult classic B-movie was directed by Edward Murphy, and it follows a group of martial artists on an ill-fated adventure to a mysterious island known as Warrior’s Island.
The island is infamous for being the final resting place of disgraced martial arts masters. Aboard a cruise ship, the martial artists find themselves in a bizarre and dangerous story involving cannibal monks, zombie warriors, and a nefarious jade smuggling operation.
As the characters, which include a determined cop and a resourceful ship captain, face off against these otherworldly threats, they must use their martial arts skills and wit to survive.
The has got some wild over-the-top action sequences and lots of campy dialogue that helps make the film fun and entertaining.
