NOILION, the trio produced by TeddyLoid, has concluded their EP trilogy with “ELEMENTS“. Although each EP comes with its own theme, they all converge to the idea of “Live On in the Noisy World”.
Through EP ELEMENTS, the unit aims to transcend “the noise and distortion”, articulating a new realm through the five elements of nature: earth, wind, fire, water, and void.
The sound of the new piece distinctly reflects its organic concept, employing gentle tunes but still retaining synthetic electronic elements, however, in a softer manner.
The latest music video Aerial complements the idea behind ELEMENTS and its sound, through a visual journey in nature that is explorative and atmospheric.
The first EP Digital Mask from the trilogy sheds light on “the noise and distortion” that exists in our digital society. That is, the insignificant things that taint our digital experience, including “disturbing fake news and gossip”. Through such concept, Digital Mask aligns itself through a futuristic sound.
The follow-up EP CHAINS aims to convey a message to those struggling in their journey to move forward. Even from a first impression, it is clear that this EP reverberates a fighting spirit in its aggressive and fast-paced songs.
Lastly, to reiterate, the EP ELEMENTS takes the story to a conclusion by seeking the new world which embraces the five organic elements.
In today’s society, where our digital presence is widespread, the stories NOILION covers are more relevant than ever. If you want to dive deeper into this topic, head over to our interview with NOILION.
