Bupkis is headlining the Peacock May 2023 schedule.

On May 4, the streaming service will release all eight installments of Bupkis, an upcoming action comedy television series following a fictionalized version of Pete Davidson‘s life. In addition to starring, Davidson co-wrote the series with Judah Miller and Dave Sirus (who previously worked on Judd Apatow’s The King of Staten Island, another work inspired by Davidson’s life). The cast includes Edie Falco (who plays Davidson’s mother), and Joe Pesci (who plays Davidson’s grandfather). The series is expected to feature numerous notable guest stars, including Charlie Day, Al Gore, and John Mulaney. The list of executive producers sees Sirus, Miller, Lorne Michaels, Andrew Singer, and Erin David, with Miller serving as the showrunner.

“Bupkis is a new comedy following Pete Davidson as he attempts to work through unique family dynamics and the complexities of fame to form meaningful relationships,” reads the series’ description. “The raw, semi-autobiographical series stars Davidson, Edie Falco, and Joe Pesci alongside a star-studded supporting cast in a show that straddles reality and absurdity to best represent what it is to be Pete Davidson.
