The scheduled Love Is Blind Season 4 reunion wasn’t the success it was supposed to be and Netflix had to apologize for it. The streaming service planned to live-stream the much-anticipated reunion hosted by Nick Lachey together with his wife, Vanessa, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on Sunday, April 16. However, many technical issues prevented the event from happening at the scheduled time, much to the fans’ frustration. Ultimately, Netflix opted to pre-record the event and will release it at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT on Monday, April 17. The streaming service also took up to its social accounts to issue an apology for the situation.

“To everyone who stayed up late, woke up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon… we are incredibly sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not turn out as we had planned. We’re filming it now and we’ll have it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible. Again, thank you and sorry.”

“Nick and Vanessa host a reunion special, during which couples and singles break down all the season’s drama and reveal who is still together,” reads the synopsis for the Love Is Blind Season 4 reunion.

Season 4 followed the ups and downs of 30 single men and women in a dating experiment. Throughout the season, five couples emerged in Brett and Tiffany, Micah and Paul, Jackelina and Marshall, as well as Zack and Bliss, and Chelsea and Kwame, among others.

Thanks to its dramatic and emotional moments featuring contestants communicating with each other through pods separated by walls, Netflix’s unique dating experiment gained popularity over the years.
