The all-female metal group NEMOPHILA releases their third album, “EVOLVE”, overseas with special bonuses. The album is scheduled for a July 5, 2024 release through JPU Records.

The album comes in two versions, a CD-only release, and a CD and video-on-demand bundle called “HYBRID Bundle”. The exclusive bonuses included in the “HYBRID Bundle” will surely keep NEMOPHILA fans hyped. It includes a video on demand of two concerts by the band. One is from their 4th-anniversary concert held in Kobe. The other is from their US appearance at the House of Blues in San Diego, California. These video-on-demand concerts include English subtitles.

Additionally, the CD package in both versions contains exclusive artwork, an original lyric sheet with English translations, and Romaji transliterations.

“EVOLVE” was released in Japan on January 17, 2024, and features 10 tracks showcasing the band’s diverse sound. The intense riffs and melodic solos of guitarist Hazuki and previous guitarist SAKI fire up the songs. Meanwhile, the rhythm section of bassist Haraguchi-san and drummer Tamu Murata provide a solid pulse. All of these set the backdrop for Mayu’s vocals to shine through.

The album also features re-recorded “EVOLVE” versions of “Enigma”, “RISE”, and “Night Flight”. These songs were previously released as singles throughout 2023.

NEMOPHILA is a four-piece all-female metal band composed of Mayu on vocals, Hazuki on guitar, Haraguchi-san on bass, and Tamu Murata on drums. “EVOLVE” is the last album to feature second guitarist SAKI as a member of the band. Their sound encompasses many sub-genres of metal such as metalcore, djent, heavy metal, and elements of visual kei.
