Visual kei band NEGA reunites for a one-night-only show to mark their 20th anniversary. The event, titled NEGA 20th ANNIVERSARY ONEMAN LIVE ‘NEGATIVISION -viginti anni-‘ takes place Friday, September 19, at Shibuya REX in Tokyo.
All attendees will receive a brand-new, unreleased song with their admission.
Two ticket tiers are available: S-tier (9,500 JPY) includes priority entry (numbers 1–30), a “NEGATIVIST” membership card, and a group photo with all four band members. A-tier (5,000 JPY) offers general entry from number 31 onward. Same-day tickets will be available at the door for 5,500 JPY, subject to availability.
Since their 2013 disbandment, NEGA has played select reunion shows in 2020 and 2023. This marks their first comeback in two years, and to celebrate, they’ve released their first new artist visuals in a long time! Each member’s look screams NEGA’s legacy and signature style, most notably, vocalist Jin’s top hat echoing the 2009 music video Haunted Jealousy. It’s almost as if they never disbanded in 2013, but picked up right where they left off.
With a new, unreleased song in the future, we eagerly look forward to what’s next for NEGA.
