In August, his song KICK BACK received gold certification from the RIAA, making him the first Japanese artist to achieve this milestone for a song with Japanese lyrics. He was also the first Japanese artist to be part of the “RIAA Class of 2023”.

In April 2024, Yonezu wrote Sayonara, Mata Itsuka! – Sayonara as the theme song for the NHK Morning Drama The Tiger and Her Wings. In May, he released Mainichi – Every Day, which was featured in a Coca-Cola Japan Georgia commercial.
