Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 236 is all set to be featured very soon in the upcoming issue of the weekly Shonen Jump magazine, and in the chapters ahead of the release, we have the spoilers for what is to happen in the said chapter, and it is everything that we were expecting for long and also not at the same time.

Many fans were very excited to see the fight between the strongest. It has been a very amazing last 10-15 chapters as we saw Gojo finally giving his all in a fight against someone that he could fight with all he’s got. Gojo might not have been the Gege’s favorite character, but he surely was one of the vital characters of the series to be made.

The conclusion of this fight, as mentioned earlier, was something that we were expecting after all, as there wasn’t a scenario of a fight where Gojo would have won this fight against Sukuna given that even though Gojo is the strongest and everything, he is not the main character of the series and Jujutsu Kaisen’s narrative doesn’t revolve around him.

We have had an amazing journey with the character, and he has left an impact on the anime and the manga series of the world; however, all good things come to an end. Let us dive into the spoilers and a few heartbreaking raw scans of the Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 236. With that being said, here we bring you the latest updates on the Jujutsu Kaisen manga series.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 236 Full Summary And Raw Scans

The spoilers show that the Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 236 will begin with something, and it is not a flashback but rather an afterlife interpretation of Gojo speaking with Geto. While Geto is cheerful, Gojo is pouting saying that it is awful, but the latter says that he is being rude.

Gojo converses, saying that he has already told his students that when anyone dies, they are all alone so he hopes that whatever he is feeling currently is all just an imagination. Geto adds that it doesn’t matter, but Gojo responds that it is because of his father, but he leaves that topic, saying that he left it to Shoko.

Geto asks how was the king of the curses, and Gojo responds that Sukuna was indeed the strongest Gojo surprisingly adds that he is not sure if he could have beaten him even if Sukuna hadn’t used Megumi’s Ten Shadow technique. Geto remarks that he is surprised that Gojo admitted that.

Gojo emotionally adds that he indeed gave his all out from his inner talents to the techniques that he learned to reach Sukuna and says that he hopes he did and it was all fun.

Gojo also adds that he feels bad for Sukuna that he wasn’t able to give his all against Gojo, but Geto says that Sukuna would have felt satisfied with seeing Gojo giving his all, and Gojo responds that he would have been even more satisfied he had Geto’s support during the fight.

Nanami, Habarai, And All The Iconic Characters Join The Conversations

To our surprise, the next page of the chapter sees an amazing addition of the characters that are sitting behind Geto and Gojo on a bench like them, and it is Nanami and Habarai when they were in their 2nd year. Gojo remarks and proceeds the conversation that he is glad that what killed him wasn’t something a disease or an old.

He is satisfied that he got to fight the strongest and died by the hands of him. Nanami joins the conversation, saying that it is disgusting to see Gojo speaking like that as he sounds like a general Samurai.

Nanami also adds to his dialogue by saying that he once spoke with Geto about leaving all the jobs to Gojo as Gojo did not see Jujutsu as a way of protecting someone or helping someone. Rather, he is a pervert who uses sorcery to satisfy himself.

Habarai also joins the conversation excitingly and says that they have all noticed that about Gojo, but no one said it all out loud. Nanami says that what he had done at the last moment isn’t something that isn’t something justifiable. However, he feels sympathy towards him. Gojo is very thankful about that to Nanami.

After this, Gojo speaks about how dying feels like and how the last moments of death feel like to Nanami, and Nanami surely has some good dying words to say.

Nanami responded that he had once asked Mei about what it feels like to be dying, and Mei had suggested to him two choices that once could make. It is about going north, to find a new way for oneself and side of them to embark on a new journey or rather going to the south, which she means means staying who you have been and being true to yourself.

Nanami says that when he had the opportunity to choose a side, he had chosen the south way because he wanted to stay how he was, all thanks to Haibara. A Panel of Haibara sees smiling and feeling proud to have had an impact on them.

Then, the next two pages of the Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 236 will be the ones where Gojo bids farewell to everyone. Gojo yells his bidding at Yaga, who is sitting at a nearby bench as well, irritated by Gojo’s yelling while Geto is laughing.

The next page sees Nanami and Habarai smiling as well, and also an additional surprise from Riko, the star plasma vessel, and her care take Kuroi, all of them smiling in the afterlife as this emotional flashback or an afterlife interpretation comes to an end.

Gojo Satoru Death Double Spread in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 236 While the Battle is Taking A New Approach With Kashimo Entering To Fight!

As we had all hoped to see, or many of us didn’t hope to see this at all, the next double spread in the chapter sees Gojo’s upper body lying on the floor, confirming that Gojo is dead, but he seems satisfied.

On the next page, see Sukuna explaining what had happened in the mere last moments, and it is regarding Mahoraga’s adaptation. Sukuna explains that once Mahoraga gets hit, he starts adapting to the attack gradually over time, and the more attacks it takes, the faster it has the ability to adapt the technique.

Sukuna says that he had anticipated that Mahorgara would be someone who would pass through Gojo’s infinity. His explanation continues by saying that Mahoraga was first adapting to Gojo’s infinity and then changing the Cursed Energy so that it would be able to neutralize the infinity.

And when Mahoraga had shot the slash like Sukuna’s, it wasn’t on a mere level of Sukuan’s, but rather, the target of the Cursed Technique was not only Gojo but rather all the space surrounding them. In between this page, a panel sees Yuta and Maki preparing for battle.

The next pages contain a single panel that sees Gojo’s lower body still standing while Sukuna explains that infinity doesn’t matter if the entire world or space could be cut. Moving from this, Sukuan concludes by saying, “Good job, Gojo Satoru. I will never forget about you,” while he has a smile on his face and feels satisfied.

As this explanation comes to an end, the last part of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 236 is a double spread that sees that Kashimo enters that battle, and Sukuna says that “Don’t Let Me Down”. The narrator narrates that without any moment of feeling sorrow for Gojo’s death, the one that came in is Thunder God, HAJIME KASHIMO.

Final Thoughts on Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 236

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 236 was definitely the most unexpected chapter we had hoped to see, especially after a chapter where it seemed like he had beaten all of them. However, it was a final shining moment for the character indeed.

Starting with an after-life conversation was one of the most brutal things to do when fans were hoping to see Gojo beating Sukuan’s ass once more. But it was also satisfactory to see all the conversations that Gojo had. Now that Gojo is dead, we are hoping to see the narrative moving forward and everyone going to fight Sukuna after Kashimo is also satisfied with fighting him.

The author, Gege must be happy now that Gojo is out of the way for good, and I personally cannot wait to see what he is planning for all the characters, especially Yuji, our main character.
