JAKIGAN MEISTER’s disco-funk “Que sais-je?” music video exudes coolness

JAKIGAN MEISTER, the solo project of NIGHTMARE‘s guitarist Sakito, released a single titled “Que sais-je?” on August 30. Accompanying the release was the music video for “Que sais-je?” with Sakito posing and singing to the disco funk-influenced track.

The guitarist’s cool and calm demeanor is beautifully illustrated by his softly sung vocals, the vibrant fluorescent strip lights, the black and white visuals, and his stylish oversized outfit.

Additionally, the interpretive dancer dancing in the hall captures the song’s mood, the infectious groove no doubt prompting to get up and jig about. It’s the combination of those vocals, voice effects, groovy bass lines, guitar work, synths, and keyboard playing that makes this composition truly electrifying.

The single “Que sais-je?”, means “What do I know?” in French. The single was released in two types, A and B. Type A includes a CD with two tracks and a card for downloading the “Que sais-je?” music video and its making-of. Type B offers three tracks, a card for downloading instrumentals of all three songs, and “Live End BGM_Stargazer-Mellow”, a track used at the end of his shows.
