We’ve already seen footage of a plane stunt that Cruise is doing for the movie. There’s also that insane stunt where he races a motorcycle off a cliff into a base jump, which is said to be “The Biggest Stunt in Cinema History.” There’s also a fight scene that takes place on top of a train that was real, and a wild car chase sequence that audiences are going to love. Oh yeah, he also did a little speedflying, which is one of the most dangerous sports in the world.
The movie also stars Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, Vanessa Kirby, and Henry Czerny along with newcomers Shea Whigham (Joker), Pom Klementieff (Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Avengers: Infinity War) and Esai Morales (La Bamba, Titans), Charles Parnell, Indira Varma (Game of Thrones), Mark Gatiss, and Cary Elwes (Saw). Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation), Janet McTeer (Tumbleweeds, Albert Nobbs), Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), and Holt McCallany (Mindhunter, Nightmare Alley).
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One and Part Two will be released on July 12th, 2023, and June 28th, 2024.
