The long-anticipated Extraction 2 is finally available on Netflix. Should fans be aware of any end, mid, or post-credits scenes in the movie? Or can they start binge-watching another thing as soon as the story wraps up? Here’s what you need to know. Don’t worry, it’s spoiler-free.

Extraction 2 doesn’t feature any end, mid, or post-credits scenes.

While it’s now common to have additional footage once the credits start rolling, Netflix opted not to give any to Extraction 2. Producers opted to keep the same line as the first installment, which didn’t feature any post-credits scenes either. In a certain way, it’s an unexpected move from producers Anthony and Joe Russo. The Russo brothers are well known for having worked in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which arguably made post-credit scenes popular by using them to set the interconnected MCU stories.

Extraction 2 sees the return of Chris Hemsworth as Tyler Rake, a black-market mercenary and former Australian Special Air Service Regiment operative. After saving Ovi Mahajan Jr. in the first installment, Rake deals with an even more complicated mission in the Sam Hargrave-directed sequel. This time, Rake is tasked with rescuing the family of a Georgian gangster from prison.

The Extraction movies are based on the graphic novel Ciudad written by Ande Parks. Currently, there are no announced plans for a third Extraction film. However, things might change quickly after the sequel’s release, especially if it is as popular as the 2020 movie. Extraction became one of Netflix’s most-watched original films upon its release.

Extraction 2 features intense action sequences and impressive stunt work, focusing on a 21-minute long-take action sequence that will gain significant attention. In addition to Hemsworth, Extraction 2 stars Golshifteh Farahani, Adam Bessa, Olga Kurylenko, Daniel Bernhardt, Tinatin Dalakishvili, and Idris Elba.
