Anime Expo announced on May 19 that visual rock band Fukuro will be appearing as a musical guest at this year’s convention. A concert is planned for Saturday, July 6 and will mark Fukuro’s first overseas performance, ahead of their West Coast tour.
For those unfamiliar with the band, Fukuro is a visual rock band from Tokyo. Their jazz-inspired, soulful music brings a fresh twist to visual kei. The band was formed in 2021 by vocalist Yoshiatsu, with Daisuke Sato on piano, Yutara on bass, and Lotto on drums.

The good news for Anime Expo attendees is that their concert will be a non-ticketed event, free with a valid Anime Expo badge for that day. Entrance will be on a first come first serve basis at the community stage, so be sure to get their early to grab a good spot!
Fukuro will also be holding an autograph session prior to the concert, the exact time is still to be announced. Merchandise and polaroid photo opportunities with the band will be available, however there will be no separate meet and greet opportunity, so you won’t want to miss their autograph session.
Anime Expo is a four day event held annually in Los Angeles by the Society for the Promotion of Japanese Animation. The convention brings together fans and industry from Japan, the US, and all over the world for the largest celebration of Japanese pop culture in North America.
