Wistoria: Wand and Sword, a manga series written by Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? author Fujino Omori, is getting a TV anime adaptation that will air from July!

The announcement also included a teaser visual and trailer, as well as the main characters’ voice actors and staff members.

Kohei Amasaki will play Will Serholt, while Akira Sekine will play Elfaria Alvis Serholt.

Tatsuya Yoshihiro, who served as the action director for Chainsaw Man will direct at Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures. Sayako Ono will serve as chief animation director and character designer. Yuki Hayashi will be in charge of music.

Written by Omori and illustrated by Toshi Aoi, Wistoria: Wand and Sword began serialization in December 2020. Set in a fantasy world of swords and sorcery, the story follows Will, a young man who enters Regarden Magical Academy in hopes of becoming a top magician, but is hampered by his inability to use even the simplest of spells.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword will air from July 2024.
