Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel‘s long-running feud has come to an end. Johnson took to Twitter to confirm that he and Diesel have put their past behind him.

What did Dwayne Johnson say about Vin Diesel?

In a video posted to his Twitter — in which the actor also confirmed he would be star in a new Fast & Furious movie — Johnson addressed the ongoing issues that he and Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel have had over the years.

“Last summer Vin and I put all the past behind us,” said Johnson in his tweet. “We’ll lead with brotherhood and resolve – and always take care of the franchise, characters & FANS that we love.”

In the video, Johnson said that he and Diesel have put those issues to bed, and that despite the publicized feud, the pair have still been “brothers for years.”

“Despite us having our differences, me and Vin, we’ve been like brothers for years,” Johnson said. “When you lead with the idea of, number one, resolve, but also…you just think about the future, you just think about plans that are much bigger than ourselves. And those bigger plans are the bigger build-outs, those bigger plans are the North Star.”

The new movie will be written and produced Chris Morgan and produced by Johnson and his partners at Seven Bucks Productions Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia. It will also be produced by series star Vin Diesel and Samantha Vincent through their company One Race, Jeff Kirschenbaum for Roth/Kirschenbaum Films, and Neal Moritz for Original Film.

Fast X was directed by Transporter director Louis Leterrier, who took over the role from Justin Lin after Lin exited the project due to creative differences. The film is written by Lin and Dan Mazeau, with Lin still attached as a producer. Fast X is currently playing in theaters.
