Visual-kei Night has announced the 11th edition of their London event, set for September 14, featuring a special performance by D=OUT’s vocalist, Kouki. The event will be themed “-Matsuri☆Night-“, inspired by the vibrant summer festivals of Japan, making it the perfect occasion for Kouki to take the stage!

D=OUT is a visual kei band known for their electrifying, playful, and cool rock sound that takes inspiration from traditional Japanese music and fashion. Kouki also has a solo project as an Enka vocalist, performing under the name Hanamizakura Kouki. He also plays the Tsugaru-shamisen and integrates traditional Japanese elements into his songs. He’s performed in North America and Europe, and models for numerous brands. Our interview with him is an intriguing look into the vocalist himself.

The performance will take place in the basement of The Ladybird Bar in Angel, Islington. Doors will open at 19:00 (BST) with the live performance starting at 20:00 and finishing at 21:00. Tickets cost 15 GBP excluding fees and include access to both the performance and the club event afterward. Combination tickets for Kouki’s performance and Visual-kei Night can only be purchased online, and tickets are on sale now.

Please note that the doors will be closed during the performance from 20:00 to 21:00, so be sure to enter the venue before the event begins. If you arrive early for the club night, you can wait in the bar upstairs or line up outside.

The club event starts at 21:00, with tickets priced at 10 GBP, payable in cash at the door. Let DJ Kaoru Nagata of Visual-kei Night and guest DJ Hollie of Nanashi Disco lead you through the evening with the best visual kei tunes to sing, mosh, and dance to! This portion of the night is an 18+ event, so be sure to bring your ID.

Check out further details for the event at the bottom of this post!

Kouki will also make an appearance in London at the GLOBAL FASHION COLLECTIVE LONDON S/S 2025 on September 15. Kouki appears alongside SHINO, the fashion designer behind the brand DRESSenDORIS. SHINO is known for creating costumes for male idol groups and visual kei bands, including the Raid., Zeke Deux, and, of course, D=OUT.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to witness these two artists showcase Japanese culture on a global stage.
