DIR EN GREY remakes more classics in single “The Devil In Me”

At the end of January, DIR EN GREY excited fans with the announcement of a new single, The Devil In Me, releasing April 24. DIR EN GREY have now shared more details from the new single, including the tracklist and special editions. 

Following the release of the single 19990120, which included remakes of past singles, DIR EN GREY have chosen to remake more classics from the debut album Gauze. Alongside The Devil in Me, are remakes of Cage and Yokan.

Based on my personal observations, the previous single 19990120 suggests that the new versions of Cage and Yokan will bring more depth to the wildly loved tracks, as well as a modern production standard. As for the main attraction, The Devil In Me, very little details are still known about the upcoming track.

Additionally, details of a total of four versions were announced. A regular version including only the three songs, as well as two limited versions, whereas one of them comes in DVD and Blu-ray variants.

All the limited versions come with footage from the fan club members “a knot”-exclusive concert MY BLOODY VAMPIRE, which took place January 17, 2024, and BEHIND THE SCENES OF The Devil In Me. The latter will give fans an inside look of the creative process behind the single.
