DEVILOOF is gearing up for a new digital single titled “Everything is all lies” on October 20.

In this upcoming single, vocalist Keisuke, driven by frustration with the proliferation of unreliable self-help books and information in the world, imparts a powerful message: “Don’t succumb to influence and live with your own thoughts!”.

The single’s artwork is designed by illustrator Nottsuo, featuring a creature inspired by the fictional character “Nyarlathotep”, a deity known for manipulating humans toward destruction and chaos in the Cthulhu Mythos. You might have come across Nottsuo’s work before from the popular trading card game Duel Masters.

DEVILOOF’s unique sound perfectly complements the worldview expressed by the illustration, promising to captivate audiences once again.

Additionally, the band will perform as the supporting act for Canadian technical death metal band Cryptopsy at its Tokyo Show on December 12, at Shibuya Stream Hall.

The single Everything is all lies follows DEVILOOF’s recent major debut—which was a dream come true for the band—and international festival performance debut at Jeonju Ultimate Music Festival (JUMF) 2023 in South Korea. The band also recently announced a Latin America tour 2024.
