Netflix is jumping on board another animation series with the horror comedy The Undervale, which comes from creator Matt Roller (Archer and Rick & Morty) and Rick & Morty co-creator Dan Harmon, who is executive producing.

The adult animated series follows” a single mother of two, who struggles to run a haunted hotel with the help of her estranged brother, who is now one of the ghosts and thinks the other ghosts have some pretty good ideas.”

Roller, who also worked on Harmon’s Fox series Krapopolis, will serve as showrunner and he said in a statement: “I’m thrilled to be working with Netflix and an amazingly talented cast and crew to bring to life the stories of the dead, the evil, and the struggling hospitality workers at the Undervale Hotel.”

Billy Wee, Netflix Director of Adult Animation added: “The Undervale is wildly inventive and I’m very grateful to Matt, Chris, Dan and their team for bringing their talents to Netflix. They are phenomenal collaborators and I can’t wait for fans all over the world to experience this hilarious show.”

Producers on the project also include Chris McKenna (Spider-Man: No Way Home), and Steve Levy (Rick & Morty). Erica Hayes (Rick & Morty) will serve as supervising director.
