DAMNED released their first music video showcasing new members vocalist Hitone and guitarist Suica, in -Thanatosis-. The video premiered on March 21, 2024, at 23:00 (JST).

Vocalist Hitone admitted on X, “This is the first music video I’ve ever been in, so I feel a bit embarrassed. Nevertheless, I want everyone to watch it!”. He also shared the lyrics to the new song -Thanatosis- on X.

Hitone officially joined the band on January 12, coinciding with DAMNED’s single Anemone. While Anemone was an emotional ballad featuring minimal screaming, -Thanatosis- marks a return to DAMNED’s core sound with brutal riffs and intense death growls.

While this shift from Anemone reflects a connection to their roots, there’s still evident evolution with their lineup change. Hitone isn’t the sole new addition to the music video—the inclusion of guitarist Suica appears to bring a stronger visual kei influence to their composition.
