coldrain crams impactful earthly visuals in “INCOMPLETE” music video

coldrain’s first release of the year is greeted by the digital single titled INCOMPLETE, released on March 20. The band also marked the occasion with an announcement of coldrain signing a global contract with German-based label, Century Media Records!

Following the aforementioned news saw the reveal for the song’s powerful music video, transporting viewers to a sterile gray performance space, surrounded by suspended metal cylinders. Cramming in a flurry of engaging Earthly footage and striking visuals, the impact is undeniably strong.

Striking visuals present themselves in the form of CRT filters, machinery, medical-related imagery, environmental destruction, glitchy effects, and flashy transitions that might cause eye pain.

It’s the intensity that matches the ferociousness of the song INCOMPLETE, bringing together vocalist Masato’s high-pitched vocals, and shouting, an anthemic chorus, and guitarist Sugi’s fretboard tapping. The members are also kitted out in futuristic and minimalistic outfits, along with painted nails and makeup, further feeding into the song’s and music video’s artistic vision.

coldrain will also go on not one, but two tours in Europe! The first tour exclusively consists of German dates all in the space of a week in August, with four festival dates and three headline shows.

The second is a UK and European tour spanning from November to December, stopping off in the UK, Belgium, France, Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, and Poland. All dates will feature special guests, those of which have yet to be announced at the time of writing.
