Sheriff Yoncé knew exactly what she was doing releasing a hair care range right before the release of a long awaited album. Because she knew her hive was gonna need something for the scalps and edges.

And as the release date of her act ii album Cowboy Carter looms, she keeps giving fans new reasons to reach for their nourishing hair oil.

Sephirothyoncé unveiled the album cover for Cowboy Carter. And the visual consistent hoe in me is pleased. I really like it. And it’s safe to say that the album cover for act iii will follow the same style of Actyoncé on a horse, shot on a black backdrop, with Coveryoncé’s style and the horse matching the album theme and vibe.

Webmasteryoncé also put up a lengthy post on her website and on Instagram, giving some insight into Cowboy Carter. I won’t post the whole thing. But I will post what I feel is the spiciest part of the post, which says a lot about why Cowboy Carter even exists.

This album has been over five years in the making. It was born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn’t. But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive. It feels good to see how music can unite so many people around the world, while also amplifying the voices of some of the people who have dedicated so much of their lives educating on our musical history.

The experience Beyoncé is referring to almost certainly has to be her appearance at the CMA Awards in 2015. Because her ‘Black and the Blacklisted’ televised performance with the act formerly known as the Dixie Chicks went viral not just for being a monumental moment for both acts, but for how clearly pissed off and displeased many of the country acts in the crowd were at the sight of Countryoncé shimmying her fine-ass in that dress, whilst singing her country song with a country act that the whole industry chose to turn its back on for not supporting a needless war. And then there was all of the backlash from ‘country fans’.

Kenny Chesney is probably having aneurisms right now. Because little did he know back then that his sour faced ass and attitude along with countless others would have to deal with Yeehawyoncé releasing a country album and inevitably creating records and milestones in country music which will have her Black face attached forever to them, with the doors being flung open for others already in the scene to get their due and make it easier for others.

The only thing I’m looking forward to more than hearing this new album is seeing the RGB (255, 255, 255) throw hissy fits about ‘Them damn darkies be taking over our music’, when country been Black. Clark Kent’s daddy from Smallville has already been talking shit about Beyoncé releasing a country song. I can’t wait for WWyoncÉ to F5 his and every other hatin’ ass on March 29 when Cowboy Carter drops.
