BAND-MAID shares tales from the road with “TOKYO GARDEN THEATER OKYUJI”

BAND-MAID looks back on an unforgettable touring milestone in concert DVD and Blu-ray TOKYO GARDEN THEATER OKYUJI, released April 26. The footage encapsulates the entirety of the sold-out gig on January 9 at the four-story concert hall.

The maids, known for their generous set lists, never disappoint. The performance includes a whopping 26 songs that tap into classics from as far back as 2016.

Fans can catch a glimpse of the dazzling showmanship and impeccable takes on BAND-MAID’s official YouTube channel. Three of the songs from the night are streamable right now: NO GOD (below), Puzzle, and Sense.

BAND-MAID also weaved into the set its latest digital single Memorable, a love song to all its supporters that features soft acoustic work by rhythm guitarist MIKU Kobato and heartfelt vocals by frontwoman SAIKI. Despite the striking contrast from the band’s typical high-energy hard rock, the new ballad has already clocked an impressive 646 thousand views on YouTube.

The video features MIKU wistfully strolling all alone through a gorgeous California desert landscape, guitar case in hand and head-to-toe in her signature maid outfit and high heels. As with the pandemic-era single About Us, Memorable was born a tribute to the very special connection between BAND-MAID and its followers. MIKU and SAIKI’s words convey their sentiments about this relationship in the music video:
