Azavana will release their first single, Haiiro no Umi wo Oyogu Hotaru at a yet-to-be-announced date. However, to tide fans over, the band has revealed the fiery music video for the title track.
Furiously dancing flames surround Azavana at night as they lay down a flurry of ferocious instrumentation. The fire casts a cool silhouette on the band members in the presence of shipping containers. Even the solo member performances amongst the dilapidated wall, the shadow sets the stage in a sleek and artistic way, intriguingly framing the members.
The song Haiiro no Umi wo Oyogu Hotaru presents an ominous but grandiose soundscape that conjures up a deep-seated sadness. Bassist Ryu’s vigorous basslines is the focal point in the verses and blends immaculately as the full band phases in, once again bringing an unmatched blistering pace.
The swirling synths, twinkling keyboard playing, and with plangency in vocalist Ryo’s voice, the song exceptionally combines dulcet tones with a complex composition.
Azavana also revealed artist photo’s for the release with their blue and gold military-inspired outfits.
