Ado announces Europe, USA dates for world tour “Wish”

The anonymous virtuosic diva Ado announces Europe and USA dates for her first world tour Wish, in partnership with global anime distributor Crunchyroll. Through March and early April 2024, the bona fide Jpop chart topper will visit concert halls in eight cities, including Paris, London, New York, and Los Angeles.

General ticket sales will begin the morning of December 15 at 7:00 US PST. However, fans of Crunchyroll can take advantage of a special presale on December 11 at 7:00 via a code that will be revealed on Crunchyroll News.

Ado has skyrocketed as both a Japanese household name and a powerhouse in anime. Her song New Genesis (Shinjidai) for the movie ONE PIECE FILM: RED hung onto the number one spot on Billboard Japan Hot 100 for six consecutive weeks and even rose to the top of Apple Music’s Top 100: Global Chart.

Earlier this year, she contributed to an opening theme for the second season of the series SPY X FAMILY. Kura Kura features ado’s head-spinning vocal range and blistering rhymes. Her upbeat melody graces brass arrangements by jazz mastermind Yoko Kanno, who has built a legacy in anime with renown compositions for Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, and more.
