Sony has apparently resolved the reported Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse audio issues that viewers have experienced in theaters.

Variety‘s sources have reported that “all the prints” of the Marvel sequel have been updated to eliminate the reported problems and that this sort of update can happen from time to time. Viewers had noted that the audio levels in the movie’s introduction, which features Gwen Stacy narrating her backstory while drumming, seemed especially low.

What is Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse about?

“After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence,” reads the Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse synopsis. “However, when the heroes clash on how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders. He must soon redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.”

About a week since its debut, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse has currently garnered a worldwide gross of over $230 million at the box office. Just like its 2018 predecessor, the sequel has also received universal acclaim for its groundbreaking animation and thrilling storyline.

Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse is currently set to release on March 29, 2024 and will conclude the Miles Morales trilogy.
