I guess we actually kind of got a glimpse of something like this in Zack Snyder’s DC movies with Batman’s “Knightmare” sequence where Bruce Wayne dreams of an apocalyptic future filled with parademons and paramilitary in a world ruled by Darkseid. These images seem to take that to the extreme, though.
