  • PassCode, the all-female dance and vocal group, attracted attention when they were chosen to perform the opening theme song for the second season of the TV anime SHY, which began airing on July 1 in Japan. Starting tomorrow, July 9, “WILLSHINE” will be available on digital platforms ahead of the physical release!
  • This song was first revealed at the sold-out event “PassCode presents VERSUS PASSCODE 2024 Vol.2” at Shibuya Spotify O-EAST, where it enthralled the audience as an emotional, full-throttle pop anthem. Be sure to check it out!

    PassCode Profile

    PassCode consists of four members: Nao Minami, Kaede Takashima, Hinako Ogami, and Emily Arima. They have a versatile repertoire based on a band sound, punctuated by their distinctive shouts and screams, and have performed at numerous major festivals such as SUMMER SONIC and ROCK IN JAPAN FESTIVAL, earning broad support from both rock enthusiasts and idol fans.

    After making their major debut in 2016, they released their first international album Ex Libris PassCode in America, Europe, and Canada under the UK’s JPU Records in October 2018. The track “Ichikabachika” from their 2019 album CLARITY was selected as the opening theme for the TV drama Kakegurui season 2 and the movie Kakegurui. In 2020, their single “STARRY SKY,” which was chosen as the theme song for the drama 182 Days Left, earned them their first-ever No. 1 on the Oricon Weekly Single Chart and Billboard JAPAN Weekly Single Chart. They also made their debut appearance on Nippon Broadcasting System’s All Night Nippon 0.

    In February 2022, they held their first concert at Nippon Budokan. In 2023, they embarked on their first US tour, “PassCode US / JAPAN TOUR 2023 -GROUNDSWELL-,” which included stops in Dallas, Los Angeles, and New York, as well as 11 cities and 12 venues in Japan.
