Rautu Ka Raaz ending spoilers

In the gripping conclusion of Rautu Ka Raaz, Inspector Negi reveals the truth behind the warden’s murder in a letter to Rajat. He confesses that he knows Rajat was responsible for the murder but chooses not to disclose this information to the authorities. Negi believes there must have been a reason behind Rajat’s actions, leading him to wrongly accuse Govind of the crime instead.

After solving the murder mystery, Negi decides to resign from his job as an inspector. He returns to his parents, seeking solace and a fresh start away from the turmoil of his professional life.

Did Gobind kill Payal?

Set against the backdrop of a blind children’s school in the village of Rautu, near Mussoorie. The film begins with Inspector Negi receiving a call about the school warden being found dead in her bed. Initially, the school authorities try to convince the police that it was a natural death, but Inspector Negi suspects foul play and begins investigating it as a possible murder case.

As the investigation progresses, Negi discovers that the warden, Sangeeta, is a very strict and unempathetic individual with no emotional connection to the blind children. She enforces harsh rules and has a particular disdain for any interaction between boys and girls. One day, she catches two handicapped students, Rajat and Diya, holding hands. As a result, she expels Diya from the school and issued a stern warning to Rajat.

Further investigation reveals that Sangeeta was involved in a relationship with Manoj Kesari, the owner of the school, with a sinister motive. Sangeeta had a plan to sell the school’s land to Roshan Builders to construct a luxurious building. Inspector Negi also uncovers a dark past involving Gobind, the principal’s secretary.

One night, Gobind, while drunk, attempted to molest Payal, a blind student. Payal’s screams attracted the attention of Sangeeta, who caught Gobind in the act. After this incident, Sangeeta knew about Payal’s condition but did not help her, which eventually led to her death. Ultimately, Sangeeta was the one who is responsible for Payal’s death.

Rautu ka Raaz ending: Who killed the school’s warden?

During the investigation, Negi finds an empty syringe outside the window of the crime scene, which confuses him. He queries about this at the medical camp placed inside the school and learns that Rajat is aware of the concept of air embolism, where air bubbles enter a vein and block it, causing a sudden heart attack.

Rajat, upon learning about Sangeeta’s intention of selling the school and her responsibility for Payal’s death, becomes enraged. He takes an empty syringe from Sangeeta’s room and injects air into her vein while she is drunk, leading to her death.

Inspector Negi discovers the truth but chooses not to punish Rajat, believing there is a justifiable reason behind his actions. Instead, he accuses Gobind of Sangeeta’s murder following the incident of Payal’s molestation. In the end, Negi returns home and makes Kesari promise to continue developing the school for blind children. Rajat and Diya come together, and Negi resigns from the police force.

This ending not only resolves the central mystery but also highlights Negi’s moral dilemma and the personal cost of his choices.
