AMC has released the full trailer for the fourth and final season of the fan-favorite post-apocalyptic series Snowpiercer. It offers a thrilling look at the continuing story.

The series s set “more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a perpetually-moving train that circles the globe.

“Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation based on the acclaimed movie and graphic novel series of the same name.”

In Season 2, “Mr. Wilford, the creator of Snowpiercer, emerges in season two, ready to take back the train that was stolen from him, creating a new power struggle.

“This causes a dangerous rift as passengers are divided between their loyalty to the revolutionary Layton and to Mr. Wilford, who has a new train, new technology and a game plan that keeps everyone guessing.

“While Layton battles Wilford for the soul of Snowpiercer, Melanie (Jennifer Connelly) leads the charge on a shocking new discovery that could change the fate of humanity.”

Season 3 left “a split with Melanie Cavill leading the Eternal Engine and those passengers who chose to stay aboard Snowpiercer for relative safety, and Andre Layton leading the others on Big Alice choosing to adventure to the unknown, outside world of New Eden.

The cast for the series includes Daveed Diggs, Jennifer Connelly, Sean Bean, Rowan Blanchard, Alison Wright, Mickey Summer, Iddo Goldberg, Katie McGuinness, Lena Hall, Annalise Basso, Sam Otto, Roberto Urbina, Sheila Vand, Archie Panjabi, Clark Gregg, and Steven Ogg.

AMC acquired the rights to the series after TNT canceled the show in 2022 when Warner Bros. Discovery was going through its content write-down strategy.

Snowpiercer is based on the 2013 film of the same name which was itself based on a graphic novel by Jacques Lob and Jean-Marc Rochette.

and they’ve announced that it will premiere on AMC and AMC+ on Sunday, July 21 at 9 pm ET/PT.
