Two prominent doujin circles, Unlucky Morpheus and ELFENSJóN, will provide their music as theme songs for the fantasy anime, “Naze Boku no Sekai wo Daremo Oboeteinai no ka?” (Nazeboku), or in English, “Why Does Nobody Remember Me in This World?”.

The anime, based on the light novel by Sazane Kei with impressive illustrations by neco, follows protagonist Kai as he witnesses a profound reality shift where the world undergoes an “overwrite”. You can expect the first episode to air on July 13.

Opening theme song “Sekai Rinne”

Unlucky Morpheus will be performing the opening theme song with the fitting title Sekai Rinne (世界輪廻, Death and Rebirth of the World).

In their statement, the band expressed how they thoroughly read the original work to create the song, hoping that it would add even further depth for the viewers.

A brief snippet of Sekai Rinne can be heard in the anime’s second official preview, exposing heroic instrumentals, and powerful vocals by Fuki.

Ending theme song “UMBRA”

The ending theme song UMBRA, performed by ELFENSJóN, is one of three songs selected for the anime’s ending themes. The unit explains that the song title means “shadow”, and conceptually depicts “the way it wanders in search of light”.

As of writing, there is no preview of the song. However, ELFENSJóN has consistently released excellent fantasy rock and metal tracks since they were established in 2018, as such, we have no doubt that this will be another worthy piece to behold.
