“Ichiya no setsuna, byakuya no hikari” marks the band’s first live performance in nearly nine years. After officially reuniting in 2020, following a six-year hiatus, 12012 announced their revival as a six-member group. Unfortunately, due to the global spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus, making a live comeback was impossible. Now, as they celebrate their 20th anniversary, they are thrilled to finally stage a comeback live performance.

Formed in 2003, 12012 consisted of vocalist Wataru, guitarists Hiroaki and Yusuke, bassist Tomoyuki, and drummer Toru. Guitarist Yusuke left the band in 2010, and they carried on as a quartet until 2013 when support guitarist Shinichirou Saitou officially joined. Unfortunately, just a year later, in December 2014, 12012 announced an indefinite hiatus after releasing their final musical work, the mini-album titled “XII”.

With a devoted overseas fanbase, 12012’s international livestream acknowledges its global appeal. Renowned for their passionately edgy music, the band played a pivotal role in shaping the visual kei sound during the late 2000s and 2010s.
