The new Barbie movie promises to have a number of exciting cameos. Famous faces like John Cena and Dua Lipa appear as Kenmaid and Mermaid Barbie, respectively. Here’s an updated list of the celebrities appearing in the movie.

John Cena Barbie cameo as Kenmaid

In a new behind-the-scenes video, John Cena was revealed as Kenmaid, a mermaid version of Ken.

The new video, which can be found embedded below, was published by iHollywoodTV. The John Cena reveal is left until the very final moments, from 19 minutes onwards.

In the clip, John Cena is shown wearing a blonde wig and a seashell necklace. Other mermaid accessories sit on the table behind him, including various bangles. Images of toy Mermaid Barbies can also be spotted, though they are a little blurry.

Dua Lipa cameo as Mermaid Barbie

Dual Lipa’s role in the Barbie movie was revealed on Instagram, with the famous singer playing the role of Mermaid Barbie.

Dua Lipa mermaid character is equipped with blue hair and, presumably, a blue tail.

Not only is Dua Lipa playing the Mermaid Barbie, but she is also the voice behind the official Barbie movie song, Dance the Night. If you haven’t heard it yet, you’ll no doubt hear it in the movie itself.

It’s not yet clear just how prominently John Cena and Dua Lipa will feature in the movie. With one being Kenmaid and the other being Mermaid Barbie, there is potential for them to be partners and on-screen together. We won’t know the full extent of their relationship until the movie hits theaters on July 21.

Expect to see other unannounced celebrities popping up throughout the course of the film, making small cameo appearances. Unfortunately, Saoirse Ronan and Timothée Chalamet won’t be in the movie, much to the dismay of the director.

For more Barbie content, the new music video features Ryan Gosling singing. Reports suggest that a Barbie spin-off movie focusing on Ken is in development.
